Therefore, W-beam Guardrail is usually installed on highways, dock areas, channels, especially on curves and slopes, to prevent vehicle collisions and ensure safety.

The W-beam Guardrail is made of Q235B or Q345B grade metal, the base material thickness is 2.5-4mm, and it is further formed, punched and galvanized after pickling.

All products are manufactured with hot dip galvanized or powder lining, in line with Chinese national standards, AASHTO M180 standards, SANA 1350 standards and other requirements.

Flexible and rigid guardrail

1. Flexible fence plate. Its main form is cable guardrail, cable guardrail by the column, bracket, cable, fixtures, anchors and other components. It is a structure composed of several cables with initial tension fixed on the column, which mainly relies on the tension stress of the cable to resist the collision of the vehicle and absorb the collision energy. However, the construction of cable guardrail is complicated, the end column is damaged and difficult to repair, and it is not suitable for use in small radius curve sections; At the same time, its sight inductance is poor, and the erection length is not economical for a short time.

2. Rigid guardrail Rigid guardrail generally establishes a middle isolation belt, this guardrail rigidity is large, the collision is not easy to deform, so the object after the collision will not easily run to the other side of the guardrail to cause a more dangerous accident. However, when the rigid guardrail is collided, the action time is short, the deformation is small, and the impact force caused by the collision body is large, which is easy to cause its own injury. However, in some places that are necessarily not allowed to cross the boundary, the use of rigid guardrail is a necessity, otherwise the consequences of secondary collisions and injuries are more serious.
